Off to the MC Theater for another 100% Sound System survival session by the King Shiloh Family. Special guests this time were Conscious Sounds ft. King General, Dougie. MC's: Danny Red (UK) and Lyrical Benjie (NL). An impressive line-up again for the MC theater session! If you wanna fulljoy King Shiloh full set you haffi go to the MC theater once for sure! The mighty King Shiloh Sound System will make you shake on your feet. The MC Theater is located at the former Westergasfabriek terrain. A perfect setting for a night of UK Dub. Parkings very close and perfect toilet and drinking facilities. King Shiloh is operating Europe's biggest independent Sound System and there is a session monthly at their home base MC Theater, Amsterdam. Run come rally Shiloh massive... !!

inna Session:
We came in around twelve and the session was already going strong. King Shiloh was playing some of their exclusive tunes and the people were enjoying the vibes. After half past one the place was packed and Lyrical Benjie started his performance. A fine singer who we have seen many times before now. Lyrical Benjie always delivers. Uplifting lyrics and righteous attitude, this singer takes the session to the next level. UK Legend Danny Red was next. This vocalist brought us some of his finest tunes and of course 'Double Dealin' was the highlight (for us) of his performance. A powerful dub version of 'Get up Stand' up made the MC Theater go up and down. Two quality singers performing at their best, we were glad we made the trip to Amsterdam!

Conscious Sounds feat King General
Guest Sound this time was Conscious Sounds from the UK feat. King General. This sound is playing for a long time now and deserved their stripes in the UK Dub scene. Founder Dougie Wardrop started recording his own tunes in 1989 and created the Conscious Sounds label shortly afterwards. King General worked with Conscious sounds on several occasions since then and released dozen of BIG tunes on the conscious sounds label. King General has a great voice and after Lyrical Benjie and Danny Red the 3th great singer we got to see perform this night. a BIG session agwaan! They played a wonderful Shiloh tribute tune and the Shiloh family enjoyed that one to the max. A great sight!

Overall:
Even though it was a bit too dark for a proper movie, we had a wonderful night. Jah blessings all around. The MC Theater simply is a perfect location for a Dub session like this. The crowd shows a great diversity of people but they all come for one thing the powerful sound of Shiloh. The reputation of Shiloh is bringing the best guest sounds and performers from all over Europe to the MC Theater. A quality show is therefore guaranteed. UK DUB will grow bigger and bigger over the next years we are sure, alongside the baselines Jah message will travel alongside this growing (sub) culture and that's what we like the most about this genre.
